Can Red Wine Cause Palpitations

The return of Indiana Jones: The Legend of the 13 skulls

A long waiting twenty years and finally come to an end for delight of fans and enthusiasts raised the banner of the archaeologist with a whip and hat most famous in the world. course, this wait has been rewarded until the last frame " Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull " is worthy of his grandiose creatori, mister Steven Spielberg e sir Gorge Lucas, e dei suoi illustri interpreti.

La leggenda dei 13 teschi nasce all'inizio del '900 quando several expeditions into the jungles of Mexico, Honduras and Belize come across the crystal skulls near Mayan temples. A seemingly extraordinary discovery, because the skulls are initially classified as Pre-Columbian artifacts. So much so that a copy was received even in the British Museum. One of the most famous is the "Museum of the Smithsonian Skull", a sculpture very heavy, 20 pounds, according to some sinister reputation by telling us feel uncomfortable at the sight of the point that many experts contend that the cleaning of the museum is covered with a towel when they work in the room that it exposes, or the testimony of a girl who was picking up the feeling of being beaten or the story of an antiques dealer who says that once the sculpture surrounded by a halo of light for several minutes while other times, he heard the ringing or you saw pictures of strange landscapes. A legend that has since fueled the discovery of skulls in various parts of the world and that continues to this day to feed the myth that the world there are only 13 life-size crystal skulls, designed to meet the December 21 2012 to the beginning of a new era. But if they are rediscovered and brought together all the men will send their entire millenary knowledge. Legend? Mania? Effect movie? Remains a mystery that will surely capture more and more curious.

The plot (without spoilers):
We are in 1957 and an elderly but still agile and curious Indiana Jones finds himself, despite himself, in a fierce competition with the Soviets, with which it is obliged to work together to find a rare and powerful: one of the mythical legend of the 13 Crystal Skulls Maya. Jones finds himself face to face with Irina Spalko (Cate Blanchett), treacherous and cunning Soviet spy willing to do anything to stop the collection of crystal skulls. At his side are still young Mutt Williams (Shia LaBoeuf) - teppistello in jeans e giubbotto di pelle - e una squadra di compagni fidati. Sarà così che ancora una volta e con tutta la sua intelligenza, ironia e insostituibile frusta, pronta il nostro Indy si impegna a liberare il mondo dalla minaccia di Irina e, ovviamente, a portare a casa la pelle.

A differenza delle puntate precedenti, che si svolgono negli anni Trenta, all’epoca dell’ascesa politica del dittatore Adolf Hitler e dell’affermazione del nazismo in Germania, Indiana Jones e il Regno del Teschio di Cristallo è ambientato negli anni Cinquanta, al tempo della "Guerra cold "when the world was divided into two" teams "as opposed, led respectively by the United States and the Soviet Union. inevitable choice as the actors have aged twenty years and had not been credible in a new history framed in the thirties. But it remains unsettling stage presence of that Harrison Ford played in 65 years still manages to be credible, well ... almost fell onto his moving to see him wear that hat and rough again challenging his inseparable whip! good news his "heir" official, an excellent Shia LaBoeuf sure that we will see in the role and soon restored the "new" Dr. Jones. Who knows? The fact is, let this small advance, it is too fanciful exchanging glances with the final "master". Great surprise to find even Karen Allen, one of the "women" the friendliest and most loved by the general public to Indy, and the always excellent Cate Blanchett .

Set between America and the Andes, the film seems both a culmination of the path Spielberg and his character, where action, adventure, and quest to discover the fascination mistica si miscelano perfettamente sia nella più fedele commedia d’azione anni ’30-’40, sia nella narrazione e nelle scelte stilistiche che fanno man bassa, ma sempre sapiente, di spazi, luoghi e clichè come solo i grandissimi registi sanno fare.
