Abdominal Bloating And Gays

new Sony CompactFlash, Nikon and SanDisk

While the CompactFlash Association runs at a maximum transfer rate of 167MB per second, under its newly released CF6.0 specification, Sandisk, Sony and Nikon are working for the future. The trio has just officially proposed a new format of memory card that goes from PATA to serial PCI Express interface and reach data transfer speeds up to 500 megabytes per second with a potential to extend the maximum storage capacity of over 2 terabytes . Of course, the specification also allows for faster data transfer to computers for processing and combines the high speed transfer rates with a scale to extend the battery life of digital cameras and camcorders.

The CompactFlash Association has already announced a new working group to study the proposal. Shigeto Kanda of Canon, CFA chairman of the board, had this to say about the proposal:

"The future professional photographer requires memory cards with faster read / write speeds. The development of a new tab standard high-performance serial interface will meet the needs of the professional imaging field for years to come and open the door to exciting new applications. "

Anything that brings together Sony and Sandisk to a storage format of the future should be seen as a positive step. Unless, of course, are the SD Card Association or the person who recently purchased a card CFast.
